Pipe terminal for copper conductors

This tinned pipe terminal, bent at a 45° angle, is designed for connecting stranded copper conductors. It provides a solid and durable connection, especially in places requiring connection to screw terminals, busbars or distribution boards. Made of electrolytic copper, coated with a layer of tin, guarantees good conductivity and corrosion resistance.

Design and application

The KCS45_10-120/1 terminal is characterized by an eyelet shape and a nominal cross-sectional area of 120 mm². It is intended for conductors with a cross-section of 120 mm², and its metric thread size of 10 allows for easy and secure mounting. The 45° connection angle facilitates installation in tight spaces and ensures optimal cable routing.

It is worth remembering that the effectiveness of crimping the terminal depends on using the appropriate tool and die matched to the conductor cross-section. Using pipe terminals increases the safety and durability of electrical connections, minimizing the risk of overheating of the conductors and insulation compared to soldered connections. The additional hardening and burnout process at a temperature of 700°C ensures the removal of impurities from the material and increases resistance to cracking during crimping.
