Construction and application

This crimp terminal is designed to work with copper stranded wires with a cross-section of 0.5 mm². Its construction, compliant with DIN 46228 part 4, ensures optimal adaptation to the wire strand and a secure connection after crimping. The length of the ferrule (6 mm) and the total length (12 mm) allow for use in various electrical installation configurations. The white color of the insulation makes it easy to identify and allows for an aesthetic appearance of the connection.

It is important to properly strip the wire before crimping the terminal – for flexible wires, it is recommended to expose the strand to a length of approximately 3 mm, and then strip it further after inserting it into the terminal, to avoid the formation of so-called "fringe".
