Crimp terminals – reliable electrical connections
The TE 4-12V crimp terminal is a connecting element designed for safe and durable termination of stranded wires with a cross-section of 4 mm². Made of electrolytic copper, galvanically tinned, it provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The product is particularly recommended for applications requiring high connection reliability, protecting against voltage drop and overheating.
Construction and materials
The ferrule is characterized by a solid construction, based on electrolytic copper (Cu-ETP), which guarantees high quality and durability. Tinning provides additional protection against corrosion, and polyamide (PA) insulation protects against short circuits and mechanical damage. The polyamide used is thermally resistant in the range of -40°C to +125°C, allowing operation in a wide temperature range. The length of the ferrule is 12 mm, and the total product length is 20 mm. The use of materials compliant with PN-EN 13600 and PN-EN 13601 standards, as well as DIN 46228 part 1 and part 4, confirms the high quality of workmanship.
