This ESBE VLG122 ball valve, with a nominal diameter DN20 (3/4 inch) and Kvs value of 2.5, is designed for efficient control of heating or cooling medium flow in heating, air conditioning, and fan coil systems. Manufactured from dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass, it ensures durability and reliability under demanding conditions. The PN16 pressure class guarantees safe operation in standard installations.
The VLG122 valve features a linear flow characteristic, meaning that changes in the valve plug position directly correspond to proportional changes in medium flow. Thanks to its external cylindrical gas threads (BSPP) with dimensions of G ¾ inch, installation is simple and fast. Its compact design enables installation even in confined spaces, such as heat exchanger connections.
Construction and Application
ESBE VLG100 series valves are particularly recommended for use with ALG400 thermoelectric actuators. The connection between valve and actuator is straightforward, facilitated by a threaded ring nut. The VLG122 valve is normally closed (NC) by default, meaning the plug blocks medium flow in its resting position. When paired with the ESBE ALG400 actuator, this functionality is preserved, ensuring system safety and control.
