Universal weatherproof enclosure for indoor and outdoor use

This robust, steel freestanding enclosure, measuring 1050x1850x300 mm (with a 100 mm plinth), is designed to provide reliable protection for electrical installations. Compliant with IP55, it effectively protects against dust and water jets, making it an ideal solution for both professional installers and end users. Protection class I guarantees additional safety by connecting all conductive parts to the grounding system.

The enclosure offers a large mounting space – up to 576 modules – and 16 flange holes, allowing for flexible configuration and adaptation to individual needs. Made of high-quality steel and coated with powder coating in RAL7035, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. Impact resistance IK10 confirms its solid construction.

Construction and functionality

The HXS300 4-12 PH1 enclosure is part of the SOLID GSX system, which means it can be expanded with additional accessories, such as mounting plates, mounting inserts or busbars. Thanks to dedicated mounting holes and cutouts in the side walls, it is possible to combine enclosures into sets and easily route cabling. A detachable rear wall with a polyurethane gasket facilitates the installation of equipment and ensures the maintenance of tightness. It is standardly equipped with membrane cable glands at the top and aluminum cable glands at the bottom – it is possible to replace them with other types available from the manufacturer.

The four-element plinth with a beam for cable fixing enables stable floor mounting, as well as connecting plinths to achieve the required height. The three-point door locking system with a toothed mechanism and lever ensures safety and the possibility of protection against unauthorized access by optional installation of a system or patented insert.
