Reliable installation protection with NH2C 224A/400V fuse link
This NH2C knife fuse link with a rated current of 224A and a voltage of 400V is a proven safety element for electrical installations, protecting them from the effects of overloads and short circuits. Designed for reliability and durability, it meets the requirements of PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards. It is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users looking for solid protection.
Construction and characteristic features
The fuse link is made of high-quality materials, guaranteeing its long-term operation. The steatite body provides thermal stability, and the silver-plated brass knife contacts – excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which translates into a high short-circuit breaking capacity of 124kA. Two indicators of operation – a red eye on the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover – ensure easy and quick identification of a blown fuse. Additionally, the indicator in the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of the fuse link status.
Application and benefits
The NH2C gG 224A/400V fuse link finds application in a wide range of industrial and commercial installations. Its gG characteristic (general purpose) makes it perfectly suited for protecting cables against overloads and short circuits. Thanks to the combined indicator of operation, diagnosing the status of the fuse link is extremely simple and intuitive. The possibility of remote status signaling allows for a quick response in the event of a failure, minimizing downtime and repair costs. Additionally, the availability of insulated handles (NH…/I…) increases safety during installation and maintenance.
