Equipped with a thermal trigger, they react not only to short-circuit current but also to a rise in the body temperature to approx. 120°C – regardless of the source of heat. This is particularly important in SF6 gas switchgear, where traditional protection may be less effective. The breaking capacity of 63 kA guarantees effective circuit interruption in the event of serious failures. The rated current of 6A makes it suitable for protecting circuits with moderate load.
