VVT-D3 24kV/25A fuse link is a protective element designed to protect electrical and power devices of medium voltage (MV) against the effects of short circuits and overloads. Construction and application

Fuse links of the VV series, and in particular the VVT-D3 model, are characterized by high reliability thanks to the use of a high-strength ceramic tube and contacts protected galvanically. Equipped with a thermal trigger, they react not only to short-circuit current but also to an increase in the body temperature to approx. 120°C – regardless of the source of heat. This is crucial in situations where the source of the problem is, for example, long-term load. The rated breaking capacity at 63kA guarantees effective circuit interruption in the event of serious failures.
