Temperature control and ventilation in enclosures – reliable thermostat EF-TER-NO

This thermostat is a simple but effective solution for monitoring and regulating the temperature inside electrical enclosures, control cabinets and other closed spaces. Its main task is to maintain optimal operating conditions for installed devices, preventing overheating and ensuring their long-term efficiency. In combination with a fan, it creates a system that provides effective cooling.

The EF-TER-NO thermostat is particularly useful wherever temperature is critical to the proper functioning of electronics – from industrial automation to home installations. Its versatility makes it suitable for both professional installations and demanding end-user conditions.

Functionality and mounting

The device operates in a temperature range from -10°C to 80°C, making it suitable for most applications. It has one normally open contact (1NO) which allows controlling a fan or other cooling device. Mounting is done on a standard TH35/15/32 rail, which facilitates integration with existing infrastructure. Thanks to its compact dimensions (29mm width, 72mm height and 46mm depth), the thermostat does not take up much space inside the enclosure. The housing made of PA66 UL94 V-0 provides resistance to mechanical damage and high temperature.

Switching current up to 15A (AC) and rated voltage AC 110V/250V and DC 12V/60V allow controlling various devices. The accuracy is ±3K, and the hysteresis is 7K – these parameters guarantee stable temperature control without unnecessary switching on and off of the fan. The possibility of setting the temperature manually or with a screwdriver ensures ease of use. RAL 7035 color makes the thermostat blend discreetly into the surroundings.

The use of spring terminals facilitates the connection of wires with a cross-section from 0.75mm² to 2.5mm². Protection class IP20 provides basic protection against touching and ingress of solid objects.
