This busbar connector, designed for mounting on a TH-35 mm DIN rail, is a key element in the construction of safe and functional electrical installations. It allows connecting wires with a cross-section from 0.3 to 4 mm² (solid) and from 0.3 to 2.5 mm² (stranded), ensuring a solid and durable connection. The VS 2.5 NA 3 connector allows connecting three potentials, which increases its versatility and facilitates cable organization. Made of high-quality thermoplastic and brass (terminals), it guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. The use of tin-plated copper bridges (6µm) minimizes transition resistance and ensures long-term connection reliability.

Construction and mounting

The connector design requires the use of a closing plate, which further protects the connections from accidental contact with live wires. Mounting is done by snapping onto a standard TH-35 mm DIN rail – a quick and intuitive process, appreciated by installers. Threaded M3 screw terminals provide secure and stable wire fixing, eliminating the risk of loosening connections during operation. A solid housing made of non-flammable polyamide 66 in beige color provides additional safety and aesthetic appearance.

The connector is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 440 V and a rated current of 24 A, making it suitable for most standard applications in residential and commercial construction. The wire stripping length should be 8 mm, and the connector thickness is 6 mm – these dimensions facilitate correct mounting and ensure optimal connection performance. The use of monolithic screw terminals made of brass coated with zinc and nickel prevents their deformation during wire crimping, which translates into a longer lifespan and reliability of the entire installation.
