Carbon Monoxide and Natural Gas sensor EURA CGD-50A2 A21A450

Safety in Your Home with the EURA CGD-50A2 Sensor

The EURA CGD-50A2 carbon monoxide and natural gas sensor is a reliable device that provides continuous monitoring for the presence of carbon monoxide and natural gas in your home. Its purpose is to detect dangerous concentrations of these gases and immediately alert you, which can save your life and the lives of your family. The device combines the functionality of two sensors in one – both carbon monoxide and natural gas – making it a versatile solution for ensuring safety.

Designed for both demanding installers and end-users, the CGD-50A2 sensor is easy to install – simply plug it into a standard mains socket. The compact housing allows for discreet placement in any room, and advanced sensors guarantee high measurement accuracy.

Key features and benefits:

  • Dual functionality: Detects both carbon monoxide (CO) and natural gas, providing comprehensive protection.
  • Advanced sensors: Uses a semiconductor sensor to detect gas and an electrochemical sensor to detect carbon monoxide, resulting in high efficiency.
  • Fast response: The alarm activates after just 3 minutes of detecting a dangerous concentration of CO (300 ppm).
  • Acoustic and optical signaling: A loud alarm (over 85 dB) and a flashing LED provide clear information about the hazard.
  • Easy installation: Mains power supply (12-24 V DC) eliminates the need to replace batteries.
  • Certified quality: Each unit is individually tested in the Polish Eura-Tech laboratory, confirming its reliability and compliance with EN50194-1:2009 and EN50291-1:2018 standards.
  • Long lifespan: The CO sensor has a lifespan of 10 years, and the gas sensor has a lifespan of 5 years.
  • Sensor consumption indicator: The device indicates the need to replace the sensor after its lifespan expires.

Installation and application:

The CGD-50A2 sensor should be installed in rooms where there is a potential risk of gas leakage or carbon monoxide formation – e.g., in kitchens with gas stoves, boiler rooms, garages, or bedrooms with a fireplace. When monitoring carbon monoxide, place the device at head height (approx. 0.7 m in the bedroom or 1.5 m in the living room). For monitoring natural gas, it is recommended to mount it above 1.5 m above the floor. Make sure the alarm is clearly audible from other rooms in the building.

Additional information:

The device is intended for indoor use and does not require additional devices to function properly. However, remember that the sensor does not replace regular inspections of the gas and chimney installations, as well as proper ventilation of the rooms. Regularly testing the device using the "TEST" button will help ensure its proper functioning.
