The EURA GD-00A2 gas sensor is a professional device designed for continuous monitoring of explosive gas presence in the surrounding air. The system utilizes advanced semiconductor technology and an electronic control circuit, which ensure detection with a sensitivity of <10% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit).

The device is designed as a standalone safety system - it requires no additional devices, power cables, or batteries for proper operation. The compact design enclosed in a single housing allows for discreet installation in any room.

Detection technology and operating parameters

The sensor utilizes semiconductor technology, which is characterized by high sensitivity and reliability in detecting hazardous gas concentrations. The device constantly monitors the surrounding air for the presence of natural gas (methane) and LPG (propane-butane), reacting immediately once the factory-set alarm threshold of <10% LEL is exceeded.

The system is powered by a 230V AC/50Hz mains voltage via a standard electrical socket. In standby mode, the current consumption is only 13 mA, and during an alarm, it is 21 mA, resulting in very low energy consumption. The device's operating temperature range is between +2°C and +50°C, and the maximum alarm signal volume is 85 dB/1m.

Application and installation in various environments

The device is intended for installation in enclosed rooms where there is a risk of gas leaks from installations or gas-powered appliances. The sensor provides protection over an area of approximately 20-25 square meters.

The IP20 protection rating guarantees resistance to dust and standard dirt encountered in domestic conditions. Compact dimensions (110 x 70 x 45 mm) and an aesthetic housing allow for discreet installation without interfering with the interior design.

Operational safety and regulatory compliance

The sensor meets the requirements of the European standard EN 50194-1:2009. The device holds CE and WEEE certifications, testifying to its compliance with European safety and environmental protection standards.

The alarm signaling system operates in two ways - both acoustically (sound signal) and optically (LED signaling), which significantly increases the probability of rapid threat detection by users. Additionally, the device is equipped with a fault signaling function and a test button to allow for regular checking of the system's correct operation.

The manufacturer provides a 24-month warranty on the device, and the sensor lifespan is approximately 5 years. The system automatically informs about the need to replace the sensor after its service life, ensuring continuous protection against gas hazards.
