SNMP card for UPS power supplies – remote monitoring and control
The SNMP card for Powerline Green 33 / LITE / PRO is a device that enables remote monitoring and management of the UPS power supply on a LAN network. It allows real-time viewing of operating parameters and modification of settings from a web browser or dedicated software using the SNMP protocol. This solution is ideal for both IT infrastructure professionals and end-users who want full control over the power supply of critical devices.
Functionality and compatibility
This card extends the capabilities of UPS power supplies in the POWERLINE GREEN 33 / LITE / PRO, SUPERLINE and POWERLINE 33 series (in the power range of 10-140kVA), enabling integration with existing network infrastructure. Compliance with the RFC1628 standard ensures cooperation with various monitoring software and network devices. Support for IPv4 and IPv6 protocols (from firmware version 2.0) and SNMP in versions v1, v2c and v3 (from firmware version 2.0) guarantees flexibility and communication security. Additionally, the card supports HTTP and HTTPS protocols, providing secure access to the management interface.
Security and updates
Data security is crucial, therefore the SNMP card offers the possibility of using secure communication protocols such as SNMPv3 and HTTPS, as well as disabling less secure alternatives. The user also has the possibility of updating the card's software, which allows adding new functionalities and improving security. Extended configuration backup functionality makes it easier to restore settings in the event of a failure or network configuration change. Compatible with PowerSoft software, which facilitates integration with energy management systems.
Please remember to update the firmware to version minimum 2.1 for cards with a model designation higher than 06 (designation on the module: PN: (1P) 5xxxxxxx-NN, where NN is the model version). Uploading an older firmware version may damage the card! Firmware from version 2.2 is compatible with all card versions.
