This 2-in-1 detector is a reliable guardian of your safety, monitoring the presence of carbon monoxide (CO) and methane in rooms. The device is designed for continuous monitoring and immediate alerting in case of detection of dangerous concentrations of these gases. Acoustic and optical signaling will ensure a quick response in a hazardous situation.

The CTLG-09 detector is powered by the mains (100÷240 V AC), and in the event of a power failure, it automatically switches to battery power (3.6 V type 18650), guaranteeing continuous operation. Thanks to this, you can be sure that protection is ensured even during power outages. The device's design has been carefully thought out in terms of durability and resistance to manipulation.

How it works and what it signals?

The detector is designed to accurately measure the level of carbon monoxide and methane. If the permissible norms are exceeded, it activates an alarm:

• Carbon Monoxide (CO):
  • 30 ppm – alarm after 120 minutes
  • 50 ppm – alarm after 60-90 minutes
  • 100 ppm – alarm after 10-40 minutes
  • 300 ppm – immediate alarm (within 3 minutes)
• Methane (CH4): Alarm is triggered at a concentration of 8.0% LEL (corresponding to 4000 ppm).

The alarm is signaled both by a sound of at least 85 dB/3 m and by the flashing of a red LED. The device also has a self-test function that regularly checks its efficiency and informs about any problems.

Installation and application

The detector is intended for indoor installation. Its compact dimensions (136×82×39 mm) allow it to be discreetly placed in any room. The device meets the requirements of EN 50291-1:2018+AC:2021-01 and EN 50194-1:2009 standards, which confirms its high quality and reliability. The detector's lifespan is 5 years, providing long-term protection without the need for frequent replacement. However, remember that the device does not detect smoke or gases other than methane. It is also not intended for detecting propane-butane from cylinders.
