This carbon monoxide sensor is a reliable device that provides continuous protection against a odorless and invisible hazard – carbon monoxide poisoning. The sensor utilizes proven electrochemical technology, guaranteeing high measurement accuracy and a quick response to increased carbon monoxide concentration. Alarm signaling – both acoustic (with a volume of at least 85 dB at a distance of 3 meters) and optical – effectively notifies you of the danger. This gives you time to react and ensure the safety of yourself and your loved ones.

Construction and operation

The device is powered by two AA alkaline batteries (1.5 V), ensuring its independence from the mains power supply. Power consumption in standby mode is minimal (only 10 μA), which translates to a long battery life – up to 3 years. In the event of detecting a dangerous CO concentration, the power consumption increases to 25 mA, activating the alarm. The sensor monitors the carbon monoxide concentration in the range up to 999 ppm, and its lifespan is as long as 10 years, which means long-term protection without the need for frequent device replacement.

Application and compliance with standards

The CTL-02 sensor meets the requirements of EN 50291-1:2018 standard, confirming its compliance with European safety standards. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -10°C to 40°C and relative humidity up to 95% (without condensation). Its compact dimensions (diameter 115 mm, height 28 mm) and low weight (about 168 g with batteries) facilitate installation and integration with the existing security system. Internal mounting provides optimal working conditions for the sensor and protects it from the effects of atmospheric conditions.
