Intelligent motor starters – protection and efficiency

This soft starter is an advanced device designed for smooth and safe starting of three-phase asynchronous motors. It eliminates the need for traditional star-delta starting systems while minimizing inrush currents during the start-up of loaded drives, such as mills or crushers. The start-up takes place on all three phases of the power supply, which prevents asymmetry of the network load and uneven loading of the motor windings. This translates to a longer motor life and a lower risk of failure.

Functionality and safety in one device

The SF-550 soft starter offers comprehensive control over the motor operation, including adjustment of torque, current and power both during the start-up phase and during normal operation. Built-in electronic protections protect the motor against overload, underload and voltage fluctuations. Additionally, the device has an error memory and the ability to automatically restart the motor, which increases the reliability of the entire system. AC power supply with a voltage of 400V and a current of 110A allows operation of motors with a power of up to 55kW.

User comfort and versatility

The device is equipped with a control panel with a keyboard and LED display, which allows easy configuration and monitoring of operating parameters. An analog output for current control and programmable relay outputs provide flexibility in integration with automation systems. This soft starter finds application in a wide range of industrial applications where smooth motor starting and protection against damage are required. Its compact size makes it easy to install even in limited space. The device operates stably at ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
