Effective sealing of heating systems – without draining the water
Fernox F4 is a quick and effective way to eliminate minor leaks in central heating systems. Its unique formula allows for sealing microscopic leaks without the need for costly and time-consuming draining of the entire installation. This is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who want to avoid more serious failures and heat loss.
How it works and why choose Fernox F4?
Fernox F4 is a polymer emulsion that, when added to the installation, reaches the points of oxygen ingress and creates a durable sealing polymer. It works quickly – the effect is visible after just 1-24 hours – and is safe for all system components, including pumps, valves and heat exchangers. Importantly, the preparation remains in the installation permanently, without causing blockages or flow restrictions. It is neutral to all metals, including aluminum.
- Fast action: Sealing leaks within 1-24 hours.
- Safety: Does not clog system components, safe for pumps and heat exchangers.
- Versatility: Compatible with all metals and materials, including aluminum.
- Efficiency: One 500 ml bottle is sufficient to seal an installation with a capacity of up to 130 liters of water or 250 m² of underfloor heating (or 16 standard radiators).
- Simple installation: Possibility of application to a closed or open installation without the need to drain it.
Application and how to use
Fernox F4 is intended for use in closed and open central heating systems. The recommended concentration of the preparation is 0.385%. In open installations, add it to the expansion tank, and in closed installations – at a convenient dosing point (e.g. towel rail radiator or inline filter). You can also use a special dosing vessel to inject the preparation directly into the installation. Remember that in indirect water heaters with a single water supply, only chemical agents intended for drinking water should be used.
The preparation is used in situations of pressure drop in a closed system and with microscopic leaks that are difficult to locate. Thanks to it, you can save time and costs associated with repairs and avoid more serious failures of the heating system.
