Construction and materials – guarantee of longevity

The valve features a robust construction based on brass (CuZn40Pb2 – CW617N), providing corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. The valve ball is made of brass, additionally chrome‑plated and polished, guaranteeing smooth operation and minimizing the risk of sticking. Seals made of PTFE (Teflon) provide reliable tightness for both the ball and the stem. Double stem sealing offers extra protection against leaks. High‑turn connection threads facilitate installation and ensure a secure joint.

Application and practical benefits

The Herkules valve works excellently in hot and cold water systems, central heating, and compressed air installations. Its ability to operate with a 50 % glycol + 50 % water solution expands its range of applications. Thanks to its full‑bore design, the valve does not restrict medium flow, enhancing overall system efficiency. An integrated throttle allows compensation of stem play, and the reinforced construction guarantees resistance to a nominal pressure of up to 40 bar and a working temperature of up to 140 °C. The valve holds ITB Technical Approvals and a PZH Hygienic Certificate, confirming its high quality and safety. Additionally, it complies with European standards, and each valve undergoes a leak test before leaving the factory.
