This Flamco XStream Vent-Clean (DN25) air and dirt separator is a key element of every modern heating and cooling installation. It effectively removes air and contaminants, which translates to a longer system life, lower operating costs, and stable operation. The device combines the functions of air separation, sediment removal, and corrosion protection. Made of brass, with a cylindrical external gas thread (BSPP) with a diameter of G 5/4 inch, it guarantees durability and easy installation.

Construction and operating principle

XStream Vent-Clean utilizes several mechanisms for effective cleaning of the heating medium. It uses both magnetic force to capture metallic particles, and partial flow and full flow with settling to remove larger contaminants. Additionally, a built-in automatic air vent eliminates the problem of air accumulating in the installation. The unique design allows operation in ECO/MAX mode – in ECO mode, part of the flow is directed through the separator, and in MAX mode, the entire flow. The 360-degree rotation capability facilitates installation in tight spaces, and the lack of a requirement to consider flow direction minimizes the risk of errors during installation. Integrated EPP insulation with a thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.04 W/(m.K) minimizes heat loss, increasing the energy efficiency of the system.
