The Airmax² heating system is an advanced air-to-water monoblock air source heat pump that utilizes renewable energy to provide comprehensive heat supply for a building. The SG-000315 set consists of the 15GT outdoor unit, the Maxi 500 DHW exchanger, and a 500 liter buffer tank, creating a complete solution for home heating, domestic hot water preparation, and powering swimming pool installations.
The system converts energy taken from the surrounding air into heat necessary for heating the building, heating domestic water, and powering pool installations. It serves as a particularly economical source of power for underfloor heating, ensuring high energy efficiency while maintaining user comfort.
The installation of the outdoor unit does not require drilling or taking up space inside the building, which significantly simplifies the assembly process and lowers investment costs.
Advanced technology and energy efficiency
The heat pump utilizes a reliable scroll compressor and an electronic expansion valve, which guarantee maximum device efficiency throughout many years of operation. The use of modulated fans with optimized blades and an electronic circulation pump ensures quiet and trouble-free operation.
The system achieves exceptionally high energy efficiency - the COP is 4.61 (A7W35), which translates to an energy class of up to A++. The maximum supply temperature of the heating circuit reaches 57°C, enabling efficient heating even at low outdoor temperatures.
The automatic defrosting system, combined with a hydrophobic layer, ensures effective evaporator operation even at temperatures of -20°C. The R410A refrigerant guarantees eco-friendly operation of the device while maintaining high performance.
System components and their functions
The monoblock design eliminates the need for an indoor unit installation, simplifying assembly and reducing installation costs. Connection ports with a diameter of Gz 1" allow for easy connection to the hydraulic installation.
The SGW(S) Maxi 500 DHW exchanger is a vertical, standing enamelled exchanger with a capacity of 500 liters, used for heating and storing domestic water. The dedicated Maxi spiral coil with a surface area of 6 m² ensures efficient heat exchange with the heat pump. Insulation made of hard polyurethane foam significantly reduces heat loss.
Corrosion protection is provided by ceramic enamel and two magnesium anodes, which, by dissolving, effectively seal micro-cracks on the internal surface.
The SG(B) 500 buffer tank accumulates heat generated by various heating devices, serving as a hydraulic coupling for the central heating system. Hot water stored in the buffer allows for a reduction in the frequency of the heat pump's cycling, which significantly extends the lifespan of the entire system.
The tank, made of durable black carbon steel, allows for operation at a maximum pressure of up to 0.3 MPa. Hydraulic connections distributed along the entire height allow the heating installation to be supplied with different heating medium temperatures.
Control and user comfort
The multifunctional controller with a color LCD touchscreen offers ready-made schemes for managing the heating system. It guarantees the possibility of controlling additional heating circuits, circulation pumps, and supply temperature mixers.
The system provides monitoring of the Anti-Legionella function in the managed DHW tank, ensuring sanitary safety for hot water use. The operating schedule function allows for programming the operating hours of the heat pump and circulation pumps tailored to the individual needs of the residents.
Cooperation with a room thermostat allows for weather compensation control - the system automatically adjusts the heat pump's operating parameters to current outdoor atmospheric conditions.
Constant monitoring of the device's operation is available via a web browser or a dedicated mobile application, enabling control over the entire heating system from anywhere in the world.
