The Airmax3 Hybrid Heating System set is a complete solution for heating, cooling, and domestic hot water preparation in one package. The set includes the third-generation Airmax3 air source heat pump with a Gbox hydraulic module, a 300-liter Tower Grand DHW storage tank, and a 120-liter hanging buffer. The entire system is completed by the Sinum Lite Smart Home central unit, which transforms the system into a smart home hub.

The reversing system allows a single device to perform three functions - heating the building in winter, cooling in summer, and heating domestic hot water year-round. The Gbox module integrates all hydraulic elements: an electronic circulation pump with smooth speed regulation, a three-stage flow heater with a power of up to 7 kW, and a three-way valve with an actuator. The controller with a color touchscreen allows for the management of two heating circuits and cooperation with the ventilation system.

Efficiency and operating parameters

The pump achieves a COP coefficient of 5.20 (A7W35), meaning that for every kilowatt of electricity consumed, it generates over five kilowatts of heat. Energy class A+++ at a water temperature of 35°C and A++ at 55°C confirms the high efficiency of the device. The inverter compressor, smoothly modulating power in the range of 3-15 kW, flexibly adapts to the current demand of the building - both for energy-efficient new homes and modernized facilities with traditional radiators.

The R290 refrigerant enables achieving a supply temperature of up to 68°C even at an outdoor temperature reaching -5°C. Compared to the previous generation, the device's efficiency has increased by 21%, and the noise level has decreased by 13%. An acoustic pressure level of 40 dB(A) and Dual Silent mode allow for quiet operation even in dense urban areas.

Ecology and operational safety

R290 is a natural hydrocarbon characterized by zero ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) and minimal global warming potential (GWP = 3). The smaller amount of refrigerant required for the device's operation translates to lower servicing costs - the monoblock design eliminates the need for F-gas certification during installation.

The Active Defrost system intelligently manages the evaporator defrosting process, minimizing energy losses. The Anti-Freeze function actively protects the installation from freezing even during longer power outages. The Tower Grand DHW tank is equipped with a large spiral coil with a surface area of 2.7 m², a ceramic-enameled interior, and two magnesium anodes protecting against corrosion.

Intelligent control and integration

The Sinum Lite central unit offers full control over the system via a mobile application and web browser - without additional subscription fees. Control is based on a heating curve or a constant set temperature, with the possibility of creating schedules for the buffer, DHW tank, and heating circuits.

The system supports weather prediction, allowing for proactive adjustment of the installation's operation to forecasted atmospheric conditions. The Smart Home module also integrates control of the Zephyr heat recovery ventilation - one application manages underfloor and radiator heating, cooling, lighting, and blinds.

The first startup configuration guides the installer step-by-step through the commissioning process. The Modbus protocol enables integration with external BMS systems or building automation.
