Modern air source heat pump for efficient heating and cooling

Airmax³ 5GT (2-6 kW) heat pumps represent the latest, third generation of air source heat pumps from the Polish manufacturer Galmet. This is the first inverter heat pump in the company's offer to utilize the ecological and efficient R290 (propane) refrigerant, which is characterized by excellent thermodynamic properties.

Advanced technology and high energy efficiency

The inverter compressor modulates the heating capacity within the range of 2-6 kW and adjusts it to the actual heating needs of the building. By combining an inverter compressor with the ecological R290 refrigerant, the device achieves exceptional efficiency confirmed by the A+++ energy class (for A7W35). The system enables achieving a high water supply temperature - close to 70°C, making it compatible with both modern low-temperature installations and traditional radiator systems.

The monoblock design eliminates the need for F-gas certifications during assembly, significantly simplifying the installation process. Thanks to the reversing system, three key functions are combined: home heating and cooling, as well as domestic hot water preparation.

Intelligent control and management systems

The Smart Home Sinum Lite application enables control of underfloor and radiator heating, cooling, ventilation (working with the Zephyr recuperator), lighting, roller shutters, and security systems. The system is designed for use in both new buildings and modernized facilities, allowing for easy addition of further functions in the future.

The Gbox hydraulic module provides a complete boiler room solution in a single unit. It contains an energy-efficient electronic circulation pump with continuous speed regulation, a three-stage flow heater with a power of 7 kW (2.33/4.66/7 kW), a three-way valve with an actuator, and a heat pump controller with a color touchscreen. The module power supply is universal - 230V or 400V, adapted to the selected connection variant.

Complete installation set

The Airmax³ 5GT heating set includes a vertical Tower Grand TOP 160 enameled exchanger with a storage capacity of 163 liters, equipped with an enlarged spiral coil with a surface area of 2 m². The spiral coil running the full height of the tank ensures even water heating. Corrosion protection is provided by a magnesium anode and the highest quality EXTRA GLASS® ceramic enamel. Additionally, the set includes an SG(B) 60 central heating buffer with a capacity of 63 liters, which functions as a hydraulic coupling and stabilizes system operation.

The system can be automatically controlled based on a heating curve or a constant set temperature. Available functions include control of the circulation pump and the domestic hot water tank heater, as well as heating schedules for the buffer, domestic hot water tank, and heating circuits. Active Defrost ensures intelligent and efficient defrosting, while Anti-Freeze provides active protection against system freezing.

Operating parameters and performance

Operating parameters include an air temperature range from -20°C to +35°C, a maximum heating circuit supply temperature of 68°C, and a seasonal space heating efficiency level of 176% for temperate climates at W35. The sound pressure level of the outdoor unit is 40 dB.
