AirTECH.eko+/D is an economical controller designed for precise measurement of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in rooms. The device is ideal for use in offices, schools, and residential buildings, where maintaining appropriate air quality is crucial for comfort and efficiency of work or study. The controller enables automatic ventilation control, which translates to lower operating costs of the HVAC system and maintaining optimal CO2 levels.

Application and functionality

AirTECH.eko+/D consists of a CO2 sensor and a power/control module. The sensor, equipped with advanced non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) measurement technology, ensures durability and reliable operation for over 10 years. The built-in auto-calibration procedure minimizes the need for maintenance and provides accurate measurement results. The LCD display on the power/control module shows the current CO2 concentration, allowing for continuous monitoring of air quality. Two programmable alarm thresholds (factory set at 800/1400 ppm) allow for automatic ventilation activation when the permissible CO2 level is exceeded. This makes it possible to reduce heating or cooling costs by minimizing air exchange with the outside, while ensuring comfortable room conditions.

Installation and integration

The power/control module has an IP44 protection class housing, which guarantees resistance to moisture and the possibility of installation in various environmental conditions. The sensor is connected using a standard telephone or UTP cable (up to 50m). Two relay outputs (NO/NC) allow easy integration with an existing ventilation system or BMS (Building Management System). 230V~ power supply ensures convenient installation and operation. The device is easy to install – it can be mounted on a wall or in a Ø60mm installation box.
