Gas detector testing kit GAZEX GTS-DEX
The GTS-DEX kit is a comprehensive solution designed to check the proper functioning of GAZEX gas detectors, especially DEX/F, DEX/P and DEX/A models. It allows for a complete gas test of the detector's reaction to poorly reactive gases such as methane, propane, carbon monoxide or hydrogen. The kit is indispensable for both professional installers and service technicians, as well as end-users who care about the safety of the installation.
Comprehensive equipment for precise diagnostics
The kit includes all the necessary elements for effective detector control: a TC-DEX test cap dedicated to supplying test gas to the measuring chamber, a CHS-03 gas humidifier (essential when testing detectors with a semiconductor sensor), a BTL-025 container with a moisturizing solution (contains 100g NaCl), a CFR-05 fixed flow regulator at 0.5 l/min with a pressure gauge for mounting on a test gas cylinder, flexible hoses for poorly reactive gases and a practical CRC-2 case to facilitate transport and storage of the entire kit.
Important note: The test gas cylinder is not included in the kit and must be selected separately when placing your order.
Functionality and application
The GTS-DEX kit allows for quick and reliable verification of the gas detector’s efficiency, which translates to increased safety of installation use. Regular testing of detectors is crucial to ensure their reliability and effectiveness in detecting potential hazards. The kit is particularly useful during:
- Periodic installation inspections: Checking the operation of detectors in accordance with standards and regulations.
- Commissioning of new installations: Confirming the correct operation of detectors before putting the installation into use.
- Failure diagnostics: Locating any problems with detectors and assessing their technical condition.
- Control after maintenance: Verifying the correct operation of detectors after maintenance operations.
GTS kits are not intended for use with mixtures containing reactive gases, low concentrations or vapors of organic compounds.
