Propane-butane gas detector – reliable installation safety

The DD-15-Nstd gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of propane-butane concentration in the air. It utilizes a semiconductor sensor, providing high measurement accuracy and a quick response to hazards. The detector is particularly useful in places where there is a risk of gas leakage, such as hotels, offices, public buildings, and all types of rooms with gas installations.

Functionality and communication

The device offers digital communication RS-485 with MODBUS RTU protocol, enabling remote supervision, identification and diagnostics of the detector. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation, thermal compensation and alarm status history. In the event of exceeding defined alarm thresholds (A1/A2/A3), the detector signals this optically and acoustically, and also changes the state of the NO/NC contact output. The possibility of remote control and configuration via dedicated DETnet View software facilitates integration with gas detection systems.

Installation and maintenance

The DD-15-Nstd detector is characterized by easy installation – it can be mounted on the wall or in a flush-mounted box with a diameter of 60mm. The replaceable sensor module significantly reduces operating costs and simplifies the maintenance process. The device is factory calibrated (custom calibration available), which guarantees measurement accuracy immediately after installation. Additionally, all GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Accredited Calibration Laboratory accredited to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025.
