This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of propane-butane concentration in the air. Functionality and application

The DD-15 detector uses a semiconductor sensor (p-p) to precisely measure the concentration of propane-butane in the range of 10/20/30% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit). When a dangerous gas concentration is detected, both optical and acoustic signaling are activated. Alarm information is also sent to the control module via the RS485 interface with the MODBUS RTU protocol – enabling remote monitoring and diagnostics of the gas detection system. This allows for quick response to potential threats and minimizing risk.

User comfort and durability

The detector's design has been thought out in terms of ease of installation and maintenance. A replaceable sensor module allows for quick replacement in case of calibration or damage, reducing operating costs. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable device operation and thermal compensation of measurements. In addition, the detector has three programmable alarm thresholds (A1/A2/A3) and a NO/NC relay output, which increases its flexibility and adaptation to various installation needs. The detector housing made of high-quality plastic is aesthetic and easy to clean. The possibility of wall or flush-mount installation in a recessed box Ø60mm further facilitates installation. Configuration of settings is done using dedicated configuration software DETnet View.
