Gas detectors – reliable safety in every facility
Digital detectors of the DD series, including model DD-61, are designed for continuous monitoring of gas presence in rooms. The device measures the gas concentration in the air and, if defined thresholds are exceeded, activates optical and acoustic signaling and sends information to the control module via the RS-485 interface. This is a key solution to ensure safety in public buildings, industrial halls, offices and other facilities where there is a risk of harmful gas emissions.
The DD-61 detector is specifically dedicated to detecting refrigerants (R410A, R32) in the concentration range of 1000/2000/2500 ppm. It uses a semiconductor sensor (p-p) characterized by high sensitivity and durability. The replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance and reduces operating costs – replacement does not require specialized knowledge or tools.
Functionality and application
The DD-61 detector works perfectly in GAZEX gas detection systems, enabling remote monitoring, identification and diagnostics. The alarm signal is differentiated for individual alarm thresholds (A1/A2/A3), allowing for a precise determination of the degree of hazard. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation of the device and thermal compensation, minimizing the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. Information about the alarm status is transmitted via the RS-485 port with the MODBUS RTU protocol.
The device finds application in:
- Hotels and offices
- Public buildings
- Extensive buildings with rooms threatened by gas emissions
- Air conditioning and refrigeration installations
- Refrigerant warehouses
Installation and operation comfort
The DD-61 has been designed with ease of installation and connection in mind. Removable screwless terminals allow for quick and reliable connection of shielded telecommunication cables. The detector housing made of white plastic is aesthetic and easy to clean. The possibility of wall or flush mounting (to an installation box Ø60mm) increases installation flexibility. Detector settings are configured using dedicated DETnet View configuration software. All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory accredited in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees high measurement accuracy.
