Gas detectors – reliable protection of the working environment

The DD series gas detectors are devices designed for continuous monitoring of the presence of specific gases in rooms. Their task is to measure the gas concentration in the air and, in the event of exceeding defined thresholds, activate an audible and visual alarm, and transmit information to the central control module via RS-485 communication. This solution is ideal for public buildings, offices, hotels and large industrial facilities.

These detectors are used in places where there is a risk of emission of toxic or explosive gases. The design of the detectors allows for easy replacement of the sensor module, which significantly reduces operating costs and simplifies maintenance. It is worth noting that all detectors are factory calibrated in an accredited GAZEX laboratory (in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard).

Functionality and construction

Model DD-62 is designed to detect refrigerants (R410A or R32) in the concentration range of 6000/6000/6000 ppm. It uses a semiconductor (p-p) sensor, which is characterized by high sensitivity and durability. Communication is via the RS-485 interface with the MODBUS RTU protocol, enabling remote supervision, identification and diagnostics of the device. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation, temperature compensation and recording of alarm history.

The detector has NO and NC type contact outputs that respond to exceeding the A2 alarm threshold (configurable for A1, A3 or fault status). It is also equipped with a built-in audible (disabled by jumper) and visual alarm. Installation is simple thanks to removable screwless terminals and the possibility of connecting a shielded telecommunication cable. The detector housing made of high-impact ABS/PC ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The device is powered by 12/24V=.
