The DD-GZ/AP gas detector is a device designed for continuous monitoring of methane concentration in enclosed spaces, especially where there is a risk of leakage. It is ideal for kitchens with gas heaters, near fireplaces, solid fuel stoves, as well as in garages and boiler rooms. Thanks to its cooperation with the alarm system, it ensures a quick response in the event of a hazard.

Features and application

DD-GZ/AP is a digital gas detector that monitors the presence of methane (CH₄) in the range of 10-30% Lower Explosive Limit (LEL). The device is equipped with a replaceable semiconductor sensor, which extends its lifespan and reduces operating costs. The detector signals an alarm visually and audibly, and also transmits information to the alarm system by changing the state of the contact output. It can be used both as a standalone device and as an element of an extended security system.

Construction and installation

The DD-GZ/AP detector has an aesthetic housing designed for wall mounting. The possibility of introducing cables from under the plaster or mounting to an installation box Ø60mm facilitates installation and ensures an aesthetic appearance. The device is equipped with screw terminals for connecting power cables and the contact output. The dimensions of the detector are 80 x 100 x 30 mm, and its weight is approximately 90g.

The detector is calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation no. AP150), which guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements. Recommended calibration is once every 3 years – exceeding this period is signaled visually.
