The DEX-4E/N-Nstd gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of ammonia concentration in enclosed spaces. Equipped with an electrochemical sensor, it provides high measurement accuracy and a quick response to hazards. The explosion-proof design, compliant with the ATEX Directive, allows for safe use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Application and functionality

The device signals exceeding two alarm thresholds (A1, A2), set in the replaceable sensor module. This allows for a quick response to an increase in ammonia concentration and minimizes the risk to health and property. The DEX-4E/N-Nstd detector works with various GAZEX control modules (MD-1.A/T, MD-1, MD-2, MD-4, MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16 and MDD-1, MDD-1/T, MDD-1x/T), allowing integration with existing alarm and process control systems. The possibility of custom calibration (above 500 ppm) ensures optimal adaptation to specific user needs.

Design and product features

The detector is characterized by a solid construction with a housing made of brass – a material resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. F4-C execution provides additional protection against external factors. A replaceable sensor module with built-in thermal and linear compensation algorithms guarantees measurement stability and minimizes the need for frequent calibration. The device is calibrated in its own GAZEX Accredited Calibration Laboratory according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA accreditation no. AP150), which confirms its high quality and reliability. Compact dimensions (105 x 103 x 54 mm) facilitate installation even in hard-to-reach places.
