Application and Compatibility

DEX/F detectors work with various control modules, such as MD-1.A/T, MD-1, MD-2, MD-4, MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16 and addressable modules MDD-1, MDD-1/T and MDD-1x/T. These devices are particularly useful in places requiring a high level of safety, such as chemical plants, refineries, sewage treatment plants or warehouses.

Construction and Safety

DEX/F detectors have an explosion-proof flameproof enclosure design and can be used in areas at risk of explosion of gases or flammable vapors (IIA, IIB or IIC) with different temperature classes (T1 to T6). They meet the requirements of the ATEX 2014/34/UE Directive and are calibrated in their own GAZEX Calibrating Laboratory accredited according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025. The housing made of brass ensures durability and corrosion resistance.
