Methane detector DEX-A12/N – protection for your home and business
The DEX-A12/N gas detector is a reliable device designed for continuous monitoring of methane concentration in enclosed spaces. Equipped with a semiconductor sensor, the detector signals exceeding two alarm thresholds (10% and 30% Lower Explosive Limit - LEL), providing a quick response in the event of a potential hazard. The device is powered by the system and has a 3-wire 4-20mA interface, making it easy to integrate with existing alarm and control systems.
Solid construction and certification
The detector is made of a durable aluminum housing, which guarantees its durability even in harsh working conditions. It meets the requirements of the ATEX Directive, confirming its safety of use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The possibility of use in explosion hazard zones (IIA, IIB, IIC) makes it an ideal solution for both installers and end-users who care about safety.
Versatile application and easy integration
DEX-A12/N is compatible with various GAZEX control modules (MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16, MDD-1, MDD-1/T, MDD-1x/T, MD-1) and other control panels accepting a 4-20mA signal (after using a power limiter MDPL1). This ensures installation flexibility and the ability to adapt to individual needs. The detector is used in gas boiler rooms, technical rooms and anywhere where there is a risk of methane leakage.
- Fast response: Methane detection at 10% LEL provides early warning of a potential hazard.
- Durable housing: Aluminum housing protects the device from mechanical damage and external factors.
- ATEX certificate: Guarantee of safe use in explosion hazard zones.
- Easy integration: Compatibility with GAZEX control modules and other alarm systems.
- Two-threshold signaling: Clear indication of the hazard level thanks to two alarm thresholds (A1 and A2).
- System operation: Power from the system simplifies installation and reduces installation costs.
- Precise measurement: Semiconductor sensor ensures accurate measurement of methane concentration.
Remember to install the detector correctly – on the wall under the ceiling (at least 30 cm from the ceiling), away from sources of interference and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Regular calibration (recommended every 36 or 12 months) will ensure reliable operation of the device for a long time.
