Gas Detectors – Reliable Protection and Precise Measurement
This gas detector is designed to detect leaks of organic compounds, including petroleum-based products and alcohols. The device utilizes a catalytic sensor, which provides high sensitivity and measurement accuracy over a wide range of concentrations, up to 100% Lower Explosive Limit (LEL), and the ability to calibrate to other ranges upon request. The P4-HT-B version, i.e., the high-temperature version, allows operation in harsh conditions, even up to +80°C. A solid brass housing guarantees mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
This detector finds application both in industrial installations and in commercial spaces and residential buildings where there is a risk of flammable gas leaks. Thanks to its construction and measurement accuracy, it is a key element of fire and explosion-proof safety systems. Installers will appreciate the ease of installation and configuration of the device, and end-users – reliable protection against potential hazards.
Characteristic features and benefits
- High sensitivity and accuracy: The catalytic sensor ensures precise detection of even small concentrations of petroleum-based products and alcohols.
- Wide measurement range: The ability to measure up to 100% LEL and individual calibration of the measurement range tailored to specific needs.
- Durable construction: The brass housing protects the device against mechanical damage and external factors.
- Operation at high temperatures: The high-temperature version (up to +80°C) allows installation in places with elevated ambient temperature.
- Universal application: Ideal for use in industry, construction, warehouses and other facilities exposed to flammable gas leaks.
- Compliance with standards: The device meets the requirements of Directive ATEX 2014/34/UE and standards PN-EN 60079-0:2013-03+A11:2014-03, PN-EN 60079-1:2010 and PN-EN 60079-1:2014-12, which confirms its safety and reliability.
Installation and operation
The DEX-P3K/N-HT detector should be mounted in places where leaks of petroleum-based products or alcohols may occur, taking into account the physical properties of these substances (e.g., heavier gases accumulate in the lower parts of rooms). Remember to connect the electrical connections correctly and calibrate the device regularly according to the manufacturer's recommendations. When installing in an explosive atmosphere, use appropriate connection cables with a maximum operating temperature of not less than 110°C for the F4-HT high-temperature version. Regular checks of the detector's technical condition will ensure its correct operation for a long time.
