The DG-14/N-Nstd gas detector is a device designed for continuous monitoring of methane concentration in industrial and enclosed spaces. It is used to detect dangerous gas concentrations, ensuring safety in potentially hazardous areas. This detector utilizes a selective semiconductor sensor, minimizing the risk of false alarms caused by other gases. Calibration on request allows you to adjust the device's sensitivity to specific user needs.

Functionality and application

The DG-14/N-Nstd detector is part of the GAZEX gas detection system, cooperating with control modules MD-1.A/T, MD-1, MD-2, MD-4, MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8 and MDP-16. The device signals exceeding the permissible methane concentration limits both optically (built-in LEDs) and by transmitting information to the control center. This allows for a quick response to the threat and taking appropriate preventive measures.

The detector's design is simple and reliable, however, it cannot be used in areas at risk of explosion from gases or dust. The replaceable sensor module facilitates calibration and repairs, and also allows for changing the detector model in the future – this saves time and maintenance costs.
