Functionality and communication

The DG-15.EN/M detector monitors the concentration of propane-butane in the range of 10/20/30% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit). If the defined alarm thresholds are exceeded, an optical warning signal is activated. Importantly, the detector is equipped with an RS-485 interface, allowing transmission of hazard status information to the central supervisory module MDD-256/T – enabling a quick response and minimizing risk. Communication is via the MODBUS RTU protocol, which facilitates integration with existing monitoring systems.

The detector is characterized by a solid construction and splash-proof housing (IP43), which ensures its reliability even in harsh working conditions. The replaceable sensor module not only simplifies maintenance and calibration but also reduces device operating costs. Two cable glands allow easy serial connection of subsequent detectors, creating an extended gas detection system. In addition, the detector settings are configured using dedicated software „DETnet View” available on the manufacturer's website. All detectors are factory calibrated in the GAZEX Calibrating Laboratory accredited according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees measurement accuracy.
