This economical gas detector DG-15.EN from GAZEX is designed for continuous monitoring of propane-butane concentration in the air. Thanks to its design and sensors, the device provides quick and precise detection of potential hazards, protecting both users and the installation. It is an ideal solution for places where LPG gas is used, such as boiler rooms, garages, vehicle inspection stations, or production halls.
Versatility and easy integration
The DG-15.EN detector is designed to work with various GAZEX control modules – MD-1.A/T, MD-1, MD-2, MD-4, MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16 and addressable MDD-1, MDD-1/T and MDD-1x/T. This allows for easy integration with existing alarm and control systems. The replaceable p-p (semiconductor) sensor not only guarantees reliable operation but also reduces operating costs – replacing the sensor module is simple and inexpensive.
Design and practical application
The detector has two alarm thresholds, allowing precise adjustment of sensitivity to the specific conditions of a given room. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation and temperature compensation – the device maintains measurement accuracy even at variable ambient temperatures. The splash-proof housing (IP43 in the recommended mounting position) increases resistance to moisture and dust, which is particularly important in harsh industrial conditions. An additional TEST button makes it easy to check the correct operation of the alarm outputs during installation and regular inspections. The optional AR-1 cover can be mounted to protect the detector from mechanical damage in places exposed to vandalism or accidental impacts. The detector is factory calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibrating Laboratory accredited in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation no. AP150), which guarantees its accuracy and measurement reliability.
