Gas detector DG-1KL/MR flammable gases (simple hydrocarbons), calibrated on demand, catalytic sensor, RS-485, 2 relay outputs
### Flammable gas detection – reliable installation safety
The DG-1KL/MR gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of the presence of flammable gases, especially simple hydrocarbons, in controlled spaces. Its main task is to quickly detect dangerous gas concentrations and activate an alarm, minimizing the risk of fire or explosion. The detector is used both in industrial plants, logistics centers, and public utility facilities, where ensuring safety is crucial.
Functionality and application
The device is based on a proven catalytic sensor, characterized by high sensitivity and measurement accuracy. The possibility of custom calibration allows you to adapt the detector to specific needs and working conditions. The built-in RS-485 interface with the MODBUS RTU protocol enables easy integration with supervision and control systems, and two relay outputs provide independent activation of alarms or other safety devices.
The DG-1KL/MR detector is particularly useful in places where there is a potential risk of gas leakage from installations, such as boiler rooms, rooms with heating devices, or areas for storing flammable materials. Thanks to its fast response time and reliable construction, the detector provides effective protection against danger.
Construction and user features
The detector has been designed with ease of installation and maintenance in mind. The replaceable sensor module simplifies the calibration process and reduces operating costs. Additionally:
RS-485 communication: Enables integration with monitoring and control systems via the standard MODBUS RTU protocol.
Two alarm thresholds: Allow you to set different warning levels depending on the degree of hazard.
Built-in relays: Provide independent activation of visual or audible alarms and other safety devices.
Screwless terminals: Facilitate the connection of power and signal cables.
Semi-automatic addressing: Simplifies the configuration of the detector on a digital network without the need to open the housing.
Configuration with DETnet View software: Allows easy adaptation of the detector settings to individual needs (available from the manufacturer).
Calibration in an accredited laboratory: All detectors are calibrated in their own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees measurement accuracy.
Short response time: The relatively short permeability time of gases through the sensor cover ensures a quick response to a threat.
Thermal compensation circuit: Ensures stable measurements regardless of ambient temperature.
Alarm status history: Enables analysis of events and identification of potential problems.
