This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of propane-butane concentration in the air. The device, using a catalytic sensor, quickly and accurately reacts to a threat, informing about exceeding permissible norms with both optical alarm signaling and by changing the state of built-in relays. It also transmits data to a digital supervisory module via the RS-485 interface, enabling integration with the Digital Gas Detection System.

The device works perfectly in large rooms where there is a risk of emission of explosive or toxic gases. Two alarm thresholds and the ability to work in measurement mode (for electrochemical and Infra-Red sensors) provide flexibility in configuration to specific needs. Built-in two relays with NO/NC contacts allow connecting additional alarm devices or control systems.

Solid construction and compliance with standards

The DG-1KL5/MR detector has been designed with long-term and reliable operation in mind. It has a thermal compensation circuit that ensures measurement stability under various temperature conditions, and the alarm status history makes it easier to analyze events and identify potential problems. The device is calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements. Please remember that the detector cannot be used in areas at risk of explosion of gases, vapors or dust – it is a device of conventional construction.

The detector settings are configured using the dedicated configuration software "DETnet View", available on the manufacturer's website.
