Gas detector DG-1R2/MR-Nstd methane, field calibration, IR sensor DG-1R2/MR-NSTD
### Methane detection in safety systems
This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of methane concentration in various spaces, from industrial plants to public facilities. The device utilizes an optical sensor (Infra-Red), providing precise and reliable measurement. The DG-1R2/MR detector is an element of the Digital Gas Detection System, enabling integration with other devices and a central monitoring module via RS-485 communication with the MODBUS RTU protocol. If defined alarm thresholds are exceeded, optical signaling is activated and built-in relays are activated, allowing for a quick response in hazardous situations.
The detector is characterized by a modular design – a replaceable sensor head facilitates maintenance, calibration and reduces operating costs. The ability to replace sensor modules allows the device to be adapted to specific application needs. It should be remembered that the detector is not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Application and functionality
The device finds application in a wide range of facilities: industrial plants, logistics centers, public facilities and large rooms exposed to the emission of explosive gases. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable and reliable operation, and the thermal compensation circuit minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. Additionally, the detector has a history of alarm states, which facilitates event analysis and identification of potential problems. Thanks to screwless terminals and two cable glands, installation and connection of subsequent detectors in the system is simple and convenient. Configuration of settings is done using the dedicated "DETnet View" software.
Key features:
- Optical sensor (Infra-Red): Provides high precision and selectivity of methane measurement.
- RS-485 communication: Enables integration with monitoring and control systems.
- Replaceable sensor module: Facilitates maintenance and calibration and reduces operating costs.
- Two alarm thresholds: Allow for flexible adaptation to specific application requirements.
- Built-in relays: Enable direct control of external devices in the event of an alarm.
- Compact dimensions: 110 x 140 x 55 mm facilitate mounting in various locations.
- 24 V= power supply: Ensures compatibility with commonly used power sources.
GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements.
