Propane-butane detector DG-1R5/M-Nstd – reliable protection against gas leaks
This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of propane-butane concentration in the air. The device, utilizing an optical sensor (Infra-Red), signals exceeding permissible norms, ensuring safety in industrial, logistics, and public utility premises. The DG-1R5/M-Nstd detector is part of the Digital Gas Detection System, enabling integration with other devices and a central monitoring system.
Construction and principle of operation
The detector is based on advanced infrared (IR) measurement technology, which guarantees high selectivity and measurement accuracy. The IR sensor is characterized by a fast response time and stable readings, minimizing the risk of false alarms. A built-in microprocessor is responsible for reliable operation, temperature compensation, and recording of alarm history. A replaceable sensor module facilitates device maintenance and calibration, reducing operating costs.
The detector communicates via the RS-485 port with the MODBUS RTU protocol, allowing for easy integration with building and industrial automation systems. Alarm signaling is carried out using built-in LEDs, and information about exceeding the gas concentration is sent to the supervisory module. The detector housing (IP44) is splash-proof and made of durable ABS, providing resistance to mechanical damage and weather conditions. Two cable glands facilitate connecting subsequent detectors in a network.
Key features and benefits
