Gas detectors – reliable protection against carbon monoxide
The DG-22L/M-Nstd gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide concentration in rooms. Its task is to quickly detect dangerous levels of CO, which is crucial for ensuring the safety of people and property. This detector, using a semiconductor sensor, offers precise measurements and reliable operation.
Functionality and application
The device is an integral part of the Digital Gas Detection System, enabling effective air quality control. In the event of exceeding the permissible concentrations of carbon monoxide, the detector activates both a visual alarm signal (thanks to built-in LEDs) and sends information to the central supervisory module via the RS-485 interface with the MODBUS RTU protocol. This solution allows for a quick response and minimization of the risk of poisoning.
The detector finds wide application in various facilities, such as industrial plants, logistics centers, public buildings and anywhere where there is a potential risk of carbon monoxide emissions. Its compact dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm) and splash-proof housing (IP44) allow for easy installation and ensure resistance to environmental conditions.
User comfort and servicing
The detector's design has been carefully thought out in terms of ease of installation and maintenance. The replaceable sensor module simplifies calibration and reduces operating costs. In addition, the device has removable screwless terminals to facilitate the connection of FTP cables and two cable glands allowing for serial connection of detectors. Configuration of settings is done using dedicated software „DETnet View”, available online.
It is worth emphasizing that all GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees high measurement accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. The device is powered by 24 V=.
