Carbon monoxide detection for safety and comfort

The DG-22L/MR gas detector is a reliable device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide concentration in premises. It uses a semiconductor sensor (p-p) for precise measurement, offering two alarm thresholds – 20 ppm and 100 ppm – allowing for a quick response in case of a hazard. The device is a key element of safety systems in both residential and industrial buildings, providing protection against the effects of poisoning by odorless and invisible carbon monoxide.

Functionality and communication

The DG-22L/MR detector has been designed for easy integration with existing surveillance systems. It has an RS-485 output with MODBUS RTU protocol, enabling data transmission to a central supervisory module. Built-in two relays with NO/NC contacts allow direct control of alarm indicators or other safety devices. Thanks to this, the installer can easily configure the detector to work with other elements of the GAZEX gas detection system.

Construction and application

The device is characterized by a compact design (110 x 140 x 55 mm) and low weight, which facilitates installation in various locations. A replaceable sensor module provides convenient servicing and calibration, reducing operating costs. The detector is used in industrial plants, logistics centers, public utility facilities and large rooms where there is a risk of carbon monoxide emissions. It should be remembered that the device is not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Thanks to two cable glands, it is easy to connect subsequent detectors to the network, creating a comprehensive monitoring system. Additionally, the ability to configure settings using the dedicated "DETnet View" software provides full control over the device's operation.
