Carbon Monoxide Gas Detector – Reliable Safety and Precise Measurement
The DG-2E/MR gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide concentration in various spaces. It utilizes an electrochemical sensor, ensuring high accuracy and reliability of measurements. The detector is ideal for industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities where rapid detection of dangerous CO levels is crucial.
Wide application and functionality
The device is designed to work in gas detection systems, offering communication via the RS-485 port with the MODBUS RTU protocol. Built-in two relays with adjustable alarm thresholds and optical alarm signaling guarantee a quick response when permissible levels are exceeded. Semi-automatic addressing in a digital network simplifies installation and configuration, and replaceable sensor modules reduce operating costs and simplify calibration.
Construction and user features
The DG-2E/MR detector is characterized by a solid construction and compact dimensions – 110 x 140 x 55 mm. It has two cable glands to facilitate connecting subsequent detectors in the system. Screwless terminals allow easy installation of FTP cables. The device is powered by 24 V=, ensuring stable operation. The built-in control microprocessor and thermal compensation circuit guarantee precision and stability of measurements even in variable environmental conditions. Additionally, the detector has an alarm history, which facilitates event analysis.
The detector is designed to detect carbon monoxide at standard alarm thresholds of 20/100 ppm. It has two switching output contacts and provides RS-485 communication with the MODBUS RTU protocol.
GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which confirms their high quality and measurement accuracy. The device should not be used in areas at risk of explosion of gases, vapors or dusts.
