Construction and application

The device is characterized by a solid construction and splash-proof housing (IP44), ensuring its durability and resistance to environmental conditions. The possibility of equipping it with a mechanical guard AR-1 increases protection against mechanical damage, especially in places exposed to vandalism or intensive use. The detector is calibrated in its own GAZEX Accredited Calibration Laboratory, accredited to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025, which guarantees its metrological reliability.

Thanks to its applicability in potentially explosive atmospheres (possesses ATEX certificate), this detector finds wide application in the chemical, petrochemical, mining, and other industries where there is a risk of explosive atmosphere formation. The replaceable sensor module allows for easy sensor replacement after its service life or in case of a change in the gas medium. Standard alarm thresholds for carbon monoxide are 20/100 ppm (OEL/STEL), but they can be adjusted to specific application requirements.
