Gas detector DG-2E/N carbon monoxide, NDS/NDSCH, electrochemical sensor
Gas detectors of the DG/F series are devices designed to monitor the concentration of hazardous gases and vapors in industrial environments and enclosed spaces. Equipped with a replaceable sensor module with two alarm thresholds, they allow for precise hazard detection and rapid response. The DG-2E/N model, dedicated to detecting carbon monoxide (CO), utilizes an electrochemical sensor, ensuring high measurement accuracy.
The detector's design enables cooperation with various control modules, such as MD-1.A/T, MD-1, MD-2, MD-4, MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8 and MDP-16. It is important to remember that DG/F detectors are of conventional construction and should not be used in areas at risk of explosion from gases, vapors or dust.
Features and benefits:
- Replaceable sensor module: Enables quick and economical calibration or repair of the detector, as well as model change if necessary. The interchangeability of modules with semiconductor and electrochemical sensors increases application flexibility.
- Two-stage alarm signaling: Provides clear information about exceeding the permissible gas concentration limits.
- Thermal compensation: Minimizes the impact of ambient temperature changes on measurement accuracy – particularly important in variable industrial conditions.
- Splash-proof housing (IP44): Protects the device from moisture and ensures reliable operation even in harsh conditions.
- Built-in optical signaling: Facilitates quick identification of the detector's operating status.
- Accredited calibration: All detectors are calibrated in their own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory (PCA accreditation no. AP150), which guarantees their metrological reliability.
- Event history: The built-in event history allows for data analysis and identification of potential problems.
The DG-2E/N detector is easy to install and operate thanks to its modular design and no need for calibration on-site. Its compact dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm) allow for easy adaptation to different spaces. The device is powered by an external system and has two bistable (threshold) outputs. The electrochemical sensor used in this model is resistant to temporary increases in gas concentration, however, regular calibration is necessary to maintain measurement accuracy.
