Gas detectors – reliable protection and control

The DG/M series digital detectors are devices designed for continuous monitoring of gas presence in various spaces – from industrial plants and logistics centers to public utility facilities. These detectors measure the gas concentration in the environment and, in the event of exceeding permissible norms, activate optical signaling and send information to the central supervisory module via the RS-485 network with the MODBUS RTU protocol.

A key feature of the DG/M detectors is the ability to exchange sensor modules – semiconductor, electrochemical or optical (Infra-Red). This feature facilitates maintenance, simplifies calibration and reduces operating costs. Replacing the module allows you to adapt the detector to specific needs and applications, as well as to react quickly in the event of a failure or sensor wear.

These detectors are used in large rooms where there is a risk of emission of toxic or explosive gases. Their construction allows for mounting in places requiring reliable monitoring, however, it should be remembered that they are not intended for explosive atmospheres.

DG/M detectors are calibrated in their own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory, operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees their accuracy and measurement reliability.

It is particularly worth paying attention to the DG-31/M model, which is designed to detect organic compounds in the concentration range of 20/40% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit). The semiconductor sensor provides a quick response to changes in gas concentration, and the ability to configure via DETnet View software allows for precise adjustment of detection parameters to the specifics of the working environment.
