Gas detector DG-41/MR ammonia, 500/1500ppm, p-p sensor

Gas detectors – reliable safety in any environment

The DG-41/MR gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of ammonia presence in the air. It utilizes a semiconductor sensor, offering precise measurement in the range of 500-1500 ppm. This detector finds application in industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities, where ensuring safety and controlling the concentration of potentially hazardous gases is crucial.

Functionality and application

The DG-41/MR device is a component of the Digital Gas Detection System, enabling integration with other devices via the RS-485 interface with the MODBUS RTU protocol. It has two independent alarm thresholds and built-in relays (two NO/NC contacts), allowing for a quick response in case of exceeding permissible norms. The alarm signal is realized optically, and information about the detector's status is transmitted to the supervisory module. A replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance and calibration, reducing operating costs.

This detector performs particularly well in places where there is a risk of ammonia emissions, such as cooling towers, food processing plants, or sewage treatment plants. Its solid construction and high measurement accuracy guarantee reliable operation even in harsh industrial conditions.

Construction and user features

The DG-41/MR detector is characterized by a well-thought-out design ensuring easy installation and operation. It has screwless terminals facilitating connection of wires and two cable glands enabling connection of subsequent detectors in the system. The built-in microprocessor ensures stability and reliability of the device, and the thermal compensation circuit minimizes the influence of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. Additionally, the detector has a history of alarm states, which facilitates analysis of events and identification of potential problems. The device is calibrated in its own GAZEX Accredited Calibration Laboratory according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which confirms its high quality and measurement accuracy. It should be remembered that the detector has a standard construction and cannot be used in areas at risk of explosion of gases, vapors or dusts.
