The DG-5E/M gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) presence in various spaces. Its task is to measure the gas concentration in the environment and signal exceeding permissible norms. The detector works with the Digital Gas Detection System, transmitting alarm information to the supervisory module via the RS-485 network. The device finds application in industrial plants, logistics centers, public utility facilities, and everywhere where there is a risk of toxic gas emissions.
Construction and principle of operation
The DG-5E/M detector uses an electrochemical sensor for precise measurement of hydrogen sulfide concentration. The replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance, simplifies calibration, and reduces operating costs. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation, and the thermal compensation system minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. Alarm signaling is carried out using LEDs, and the alarm status history allows for event analysis. The detector housing made of high-impact ABS (IP44) protects it from moisture and mechanical damage. Two cable glands facilitate connecting subsequent detectors in the system.
