Gas detector DG-61.EN/M Freon, 1000/2000/2500ppm R410A, p-p sensor, RS485, economical

Gas detector DG-61.EN/M – reliable refrigerant monitoring

The DG-61.EN/M gas detector is an economical, digital device designed for continuous monitoring of refrigerant concentrations, commonly known as freons, in rooms. Control is carried out by periodically measuring the gas concentration in the surrounding air. If defined alarm thresholds are exceeded, the detector signals this optically and sends information to the supervisory module via the RS-485 network. The device is compatible with the Digital Gas Detection System, allowing for the construction of extensive and effective monitoring systems.

The detector uses a semiconductor sensor (p-p) with high selectivity, ensuring precise measurements of R410A and R32 refrigerant concentrations in the range of 1000/2000/2500 ppm. The replaceable sensor module simplifies maintenance, calibration and reduces operating costs. This solution is particularly important in systems requiring regular inspections and adjustments to changing working conditions.

Application and benefits

The DG-61.EN/M detector finds application in many areas where there is a risk of refrigerant leakage:

  • Industrial plants: monitoring refrigeration and air conditioning installations.
  • Logistics centers: control of air condition in warehouses with refrigerated products stored.
  • Public utility facilities: ensuring safety in buildings equipped with air conditioning and cooling systems.
  • Air conditioning and refrigeration services: precise leak detection during repair and maintenance of equipment.

Using the DG-61.EN/M detector translates to:

  • Increased safety: rapid detection of refrigerant leaks minimizes the risk to the health and life of people in the vicinity.
  • Environmental protection: quick response to leaks helps reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
  • Cost reduction: early detection of leaks avoids more serious failures and costly repairs to refrigeration installations.
  • Compliance with regulations: monitoring refrigerant concentrations helps meet legal requirements regarding environmental protection and workplace safety.

Construction and technical features

The DG-61.EN/M detector is characterized by a solid construction and easy integration with existing gas monitoring systems:

  • RS-485 communication: enables remote supervision, identification and diagnostics of the detector on the network, using the MODBUS RTU protocol.
  • Replaceable sensor module: simplified maintenance and calibration and the ability to adapt to different measurement needs.
  • Solid housing (IP43): provides protection against dust and moisture, ensuring reliable operation in harsh industrial conditions.
  • Two cable glands: facilitate serial connection of subsequent detectors, creating extensive gas monitoring systems.
  • Configuration with DETnet View software: allows easy setting of detector parameters and analysis of measurement data (available on the manufacturer's website).
  • Calibration: All detectors are calibrated in their own GAZEX Accredited Calibration Laboratory according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees measurement accuracy.

The device is powered by 24V= voltage and its dimensions are 82 x 95 x 68 mm, which facilitates installation in various locations.
