Gas detectors GAZEX – reliable installation protection

The DG-61/N-Nstd gas detector is an economical, stationary device designed for continuous monitoring of the presence of HFC (Freon) gases in enclosed spaces. It utilizes a semiconductor sensor, ensuring measurement sensitivity and selectivity. The detector is particularly useful in places where refrigerant leaks may occur, protecting both human health and the installation itself.

Design and application

The DG-61/N-Nstd detector is designed to work with MD… series alarm modules from GAZEX, creating a complete hazard signaling system. The built-in thermal compensation circuit ensures measurement stability even with changing ambient temperatures. A splash-proof housing (IP43 in the recommended mounting position) increases resistance to environmental conditions and allows installation in areas exposed to moisture. The device is powered by the system, simplifying installation and operation.

The detector finds application in:

• auxiliary rooms adjacent to boiler rooms;
• garages and underground parking lots (including for vehicles with LPG or CNG installations);
• vehicle inspection stations;
• production halls threatened by CO emissions;
• rooms with air conditioning, refrigeration or heat pump equipment.

The device has two bistable (threshold) outputs and a built-in optical indicator informing about exceeding the permissible gas concentration. The dimensions of the detector are 110 x 140 x 55 mm, which facilitates its installation in various locations.
